"Scheduling was hit or miss for me"
I really wanted this to work because the idea of scheduling posts ahead of time is super convenient, and when it did work, it saved me some hassle. But I kept having posts miss their scheduled times, which got frustrating quickly. I reached out to support hoping for a simple fix, but they weren’t much help. So overall, I’m kind of torn, the tool has potential, but the reliability just wasn’t there for me
"Bad timing and didn’t save me any time"
I thought this would make things quicker, but the timing couldn’t have been worse. It ended up taking longer than if I had just done it manually myself, which was frustrating.
"Image editing feels a bit limited, right?"
I tried editing a few posts directly in Hopper HQ, but the tools felt basic to me. Cropping worked fine, but the filters and adjustment options seemed really limited. I ended up editing the images somewhere else first before uploading them. Maybe I’m missing something, but it didn’t feel like enough for quick touch-ups...
"Great for reels, just caught a few timing hiccups"
I’ve been using Hopper HQ mostly for videos and reels, and overall it’s been solid. Uploading is easy, and when one of my reels wasn’t posting properly, support got back to me quickly and helped sort it out. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is that the preview can feel a little slow sometimes, though to be fair it always seems to happen when I’m rushing or trying to post at the wrong moment. Other than that, it does what I need.

"Works fine for our team, but permissions are confusing"
We’ve been using this for team stuff and overall it works well. The main thing that keeps tripping me up is the permissions setup, it’s not always clear who can see or edit what. Has anyone else run into the same issue?

"Bulk upload was giving me problems"
I had a frustrating time with the bulk upload feature. Too many of my uploads kept failing, and it made the whole process feel more difficult than it should have been.

"Caption tools are decent, hashtags could use work"
I mainly tried Hopper HQ for the caption ideas and hashtag suggestions. The captions were nice to have when I was staring at a blank post, but some of them came off a little generic, so I usually ended up tweaking them quite a bit anyway.
The hashtag suggestions were okay, but they didn’t always feel that connected to what I was posting. It did save me a bit of time, just not as much as I expected. Overall, it’s useful enough, but I wouldn’t say it replaced doing the work myself, it just felt...

"I thought the visual calendar was going..."
I thought the visual calendar was going to make planning easier, but it just got frustrating. It lagged a lot, and posts would shift around in ways that didn’t really make sense. I ended up spending more time fixing things than actually planning content. Support replied, but the answers felt generic. It made me question the overall quality a bit.
"Helpful for planning, but a little clunky"
As someone who likes to stay organized and plan content ahead of time, I’ve found Hopper HQ useful. The calendar view is probably my favorite part because it makes it easier to see what’s coming up and keep everything in order. It definitely saves me some time, but moving posts around can feel a bit slow and clunky at times. It also took me a little while to figure out a workflow that actually made sense for me. Overall, it’s decent and gets the job done, just not quite as smooth as I was hoping for.
"Helpful analytics, but timing hasn’t been on my side"
I’ve been using the reports to check how my posts are doing and figure out the best times to share them, and they’re useful overall. A few of the charts take me a minute to make sense of, but part of that might just be because I’m usually looking at them when I’m rushed or catching up at the wrong time. It still gets the job done for what I need.
"Pretty easy to get started"
Getting everything set up was straightforward for me. I was expecting it to be more of a hassle, especially with connecting accounts, but that part went through without too much drama. The onboarding steps were clear enough that I usually knew what I was supposed to do next, although there were a couple of spots where I kind of wandered around the menus for a minute because I wasn’t totally sure where a setting or option was hiding.
When I did get stuck, support was actually helpful, which made a big difference because I didn’t feel like I was just wasting time guessing. After using it for a little while, it felt fairly quick to pick up, probably because most of the basics are laid out in a way that makes sense once you’ve clicked through them once. I wouldn’t say it’s perfect, since a few things could be easier to find, but overall it’s been solid so far

"I’m not sure if I’m overlooking something..."
I’m not sure if I’m overlooking something, but the media library feels really disorganized to me. I have a hard time finding anything, and it ends up taking way longer than it should.

"I mainly use Hopper HQ for previewing my..."
I mainly use Hopper HQ for previewing my Instagram posts before they actually go live, because I’m the kind of person who wants to see exactly how everything is going to sit in the feed before I commit to posting it.
What I’ve noticed is that the preview is really close to the final result. The spacing, cropping, and overall grid layout all look pretty much the same once the post is published, so I’m not stuck second-guessing whether something will look weird or having to delete and repost because the feed ended up looking off.
there isn’t much I’d complain about. It does the specific thing I need it to do, which is make planning Instagram posts feel a lot less annoying and a lot less like guesswork

"I had this weird little issue where my..."
I had this weird little issue where my posts weren’t showing up correctly, which was more frustrating than it probably should’ve been. You know when something small just refuses to work and suddenly it becomes your whole problem? Yeah, that. I contacted support and, to be fair, they were helpful once they got back to me. They explained what was going on in normal, simple language instead of throwing a bunch of tech talk at me. It did take a bit of back and forth to fully sort out, but it got fixed in the end. I’d probably give 5 stars if that first response had come a little quicker, because sitting there wondering if anyone’s even seen your message is not my favorite activity. Overall though, good experience and the support team did their job

"Super easy to figure out"
I was surprised by how simple it was to use. I had it figured out in about five minutes, and I didn’t feel like I had to dig through instructions or guess what to do next.

"Instagram auto-publishing was more trouble than it was worth"
I tried using it to auto-publish posts on Instagram, but it kept causing problems for me. Some posts didn’t go out the way I expected, and figuring out what went wrong was just frustrating. In the end, I personally wouldn’t bother with it again.
"Still dealing with disconnected accounts"
I really wanted to like Hopper HQ because the idea is great, but my social accounts keep disconnecting for no obvious reason. I’ll reconnect everything, it works for a little while, and then I’m right back to the same issue. They make it sound like scheduling will be easy and reliable, but that hasn’t been my experience at all. It’s frustrating when you’re promised a smoother workflow and then you still have to worry whether your posts are actually going to go out. Support was fine, but the constant connection problems are just too much...

"These integrations nearly drove me up the wall"
I swear, dealing with the integrations was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. They felt unreliable, kept being annoying to set up or use, and made the whole thing feel like a giant hassle. I was ready to throw my laptop into the sun by the end of it. Not worth it for me.

"The UI is just as confusing as I expected"
I kind of had a feeling the interface was going to be messy, and after using it, that’s exactly how it felt. The menus seem all over the place, and I kept finding little things that made it harder to navigate. It pretty much confirmed my first impression that the UI needs work.

"Pretty much does what I need"
It covers most of the features I was looking for, which is a relief because I’m kind of tired of trying out new services and figuring out what’s missing. There are a few small things I wish it had, but overall it gets the job done without making me jump through too many hoops.
